JAMA’T-UD-DA’WAH Pakistan is one of the largest welfare NGOs of Pakistan, and an organization based on the precepts of the Qur’an and the life and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Through and through, its objectives enwrap social welfare, guidance, lending a helping hand to suffering humanity, and prevent Muslims from becoming victims of hate crimes, disharmony, and clashes with dissenters, in order to strive for a society based on the principles of justice and equality.
Founded by Prof.Hafiz Saeed in 1985 in Lahore-Pakistan, the organization is envisioned as the continuation of Prophet Muhammad’s (Salallahu Alayhi Wassalam) mission towards humanity to glorify the message of peace in all horizons of the world. JAMA’T-UD-DA’WAH aims and continues individual’s revival of mind and being by stimulating intellectual, spiritual, physical, social, communal, and national development as envisaged by Muhammad (Salallahu Alayhi Wassalam) in verbatim. JUD strives for manifestation of Islam’s core principle Ideology of Dawah that instills inviting individuals, communities, and the whole of humanity (the seeds of Adam), to the benevolent and true Divine message of Islam.
It is a Pakistan based organization that is blessed with billions of followers in each village and city who share the same vision and follow the same direction that Islam has enlightened us with, and JUD helps facilitate the process called Dawah.
It carries through an incessant aim of fulfilling all those obligations of education, health and youth development in keeping with Islamic precepts. To cooperate with, and assist the poor, the unwell, the deserving, widows and orphans, without distinction of race, ethnicity, faith or geographical origin.
It maintains a number of departments for consummating the organizational vision. It has, thus, undertaken a number of social welfare activities and projects, educational activities, healthcare service delivery centers, rescue and rehabilitation, to mention a few.
